Features

Our fiberglass garage doors are literally engineered for gorgeous, easy-care living. High-end features make them:

  • Resilient

Our fiberglass garage doors are engineered with a wood-grain fiberglass surface bonded to a durable steel frame for maintenance-free good looks and functionality that will last for years.

  • Thermally Efficient

With polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation that boasts a U-factor* of .15 (R-value** of 11), our fiberglass garage doors can improve your home’s thermal efficiency and block street noise. Snug fitting tongue-and-groove joints keep wind and weather at bay. A bottom weather seal blocks drafts and debris from the garage.

  • Safe

The TorqueMaster® Plus Counter Balance System features springs nestled safely inside a steel tube to prevent the accidental release of tension that could cause injury.

  • Long Lasting

An upgrade to the optional 25,000-cycle spring delivers twice the life of a standard torsion spring.

  • Guaranteed

Our designer fiberglass garage doors come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

*U-factor is independently tested and verified per ANSI/DASMA 105 using solid doors and specific product sizes.
**Wayne Dalton uses a calculated door section R-value for our insulated doors.

Panel Styles

Choose Your Design

Choose from four of our most popular door designs—Horizontal Raised Panel, Vertical Raised Panel, Sonoma or Horizontal V-Groove. A distinct wood-grain pattern is used for each panel design. Cherry wood grain adorns Sonoma panels, while an oak grain lends character to horizontal and vertical raised panels. A Mahogany-style grain embellishes horizontal groove panels. Designer fiberglass garage doors feature three section styling on seven-foot-tall doors.

7 ft. - 3 Sections

8 ft. - 4 Sections

*Doors more than 9′ wide have a vertical seam added for support. Larger sized doors are available (up to 14′ high and 18′ wide) depending on panel design.

Choose Your Finish

Designer fiberglass garage doors feature three section styling on seven-foot-tall doors. Next, select one of 10 elegant, stained finishes to enhance the wood grain of your fiberglass garage doors. Stain options include Natural Oak, Clay, Gray, Green, Walnut, Red Oak, White, Mahogany, Cherry, or Honduran Mahogany.

Stained Finishes

Online color swatches are only digital reproductions of actual standards and will vary in appearance due to differences in monitor and video card output. These digital representations should not be used to finalize color selection(s). Please contact your local Wayne Dalton Dealer for actual color samples to match with your home or business. A top clear coat may need to be reapplied periodically to help maintain the factory finish.

Choose Your Windows

Each fiberglass garage door offers specific window choices designed to complement the aesthetics and dimensions of your chosen design. Windows come in a variety of vertical and horizontal rectangular panes—as well as plain, arched and square windows with two to 20 lites, depending on the style and size of door selected.

Horizontal Raised Panel Window

Vertical Raised Panel Window

Horizontal V-Groove Panel Windows

Sonoma Panel Window Options

Not all windows are available in all door sizes.

Window configurations for Horizontal Raised and Vertical Raised above are based on 8′ wide doors. Other door widths may feature a different window configuration.

Double car windows are named by the number of window panes in the door. Example: 12 Lite Square for a single car door becomes 24 Lite Square for a double car door. For arched windows on double car doors, you have the option of selecting a single arch or double arch.

Optional Window Placement

Windows may be arranged vertically or horizontally. Up to 50% of the door can include windows. Windows placed in the bottom section of a door must use DSB 1/8”, or tempered, or insulated glass. Vertical window options can be placed as a special order.

Glass is available in Clear, Tinted, **Satin Etched or Obscure.

Insulation options are available for Horizontal Raised and Vertical Raised panel designs. Obscure glass is not available on the Sonoma panels.

**Available in tempered.

Choose Your Hardware

Inspired by the artistry of traditional blacksmiths, our decorative hardware collections lend a distinctive touch of individuality to all of our carriage house garage door styles . Hinge straps, pull handles and other accent pieces inspired by the Old World and early Americana add a touch of rustic elegance.

Knockers, corner brackets and clavos are a respectful nod to the decorative nails and studs craftsmen have used to accent entry doors for centuries. Every piece is forged from black powder-coated steel finished with a hand-hammered look.

Decorative Hardware Kits

Hammered Knockers

Decorative hardware kits come with four hinges and two pull handles. Double car doors come with two sets of decorative hardware kits. Additional accent pieces are available to match or complement each collection. Pull handle fit in center stile is dependent upon design and size of door.
